With the glass blowing series, I developed the process mimicking the time taken and putting the subject repeatedly back in the kiln to rework. So I developed my images, then projected the images, redeveloping the projected photographs.

I'm Still Here (2010)
I'm Still Here directed by Casey Affleck, Tells the story of Joaquin Pheonix career transition from actor to rapper, and his pure self belief and delusions. I'm still here features Joaquin Pheonix, playing himself.
The poster is both an aesthetic genius as well as the type playing on Joaquin's loss of sanity, as it breaks away in areas. The film is in cinemas now.
Face a Face: Henri Landier
Whilst meander through Montmartre I happened upon an open house, featuring some of Henri Landiers paintings and works. Most impressive I found were his heavy, scratchy etchings of landscapes around Paris mainly images of streets and quintessential buildings. He's captured the movement and buzz of the back streets of Montmartre, the energy the people bring to the spaces.
Mexico is hot...
Over summer Tate modern solo exhibited Francis Alys and the Pompidou centre is currently exhibiting another mexican artist Gabriel Orozco. Both artists work is playful with life, observing and frolicking around with their surroundings.
When Faith moves mountains/ A short film, where by Alys persuaded 500 peruvian students to move in a line over a sand june, whilst surface digging. This minuscule and temporary action, shifted the dune a little but none the less moved a mountain.
Gabriel Orozco's key piece that was striking up interest was La DS, a modified Citroen DS, it's a humorous piece as from the side he car is in perfect proportion, rather surreal.
Sally Mann: The Family and the Land
Sally Mann's latest touring collection of work, features here classic subject matter of her child, in now their teenage years and other powerful collections of landscapes and documentary from here long career. The photographs feature marks and drips due to using antique cameras and processes, very interesting features in our digital age.
Spaghetti Metro
Whilst in Paris last week, I picked up a pocket metro map, It really could do with a redesign, It's a little like a wind swept cobweb with text in uncomfortable angles, jutting around the lines. The wall maps were in a Harry Beck style, there just appears to be a cross section of versions.
